The New Englander is made from recycled barrels ranging in capacity from 55 to 60 gallons. It is intended to be used with gutters and downspouts to collect storm runoff. The New Englander uses solid brass fittings for the outlet and top overflow control valves, along with an aluminum screen louvered inlet to stop leaves and bugs from living (and breeding) in your pure rainwater. The regular price is $89, and it comes complete with all hardware installed, and a five-foot starter hose with shutoff.
To get the most out of your rain water, you can use a connector kit to connect two (or more) rain barrels together. Each connector kit costs $14.99 and comes with a specially-produced five-foot hose with female fittings on both ends. Click here for information on how to install your connector kit.
